An expert in knowledge organization & management theory, Dr. A. D. Amar (Amar Dev Amar) received 2013 Carolyn Dexter Finalist Award of the Academy of Management (AOM) and 2010 NJBIA Bright Idea Award in Management of the NJPRO Foundation of New Jersey Business and Industry Association (NJBIA) for his publication on leading without authority in the context of knowledge organizations in the Harvard Business Review. He has more than 120 publications and more than 100 presentations. His papers on meditation and leadership were selected Best Paper of the Academy of Management for its 2013 and 2014 annual conferences. He was awarded the 2017 Professor of the Year by IARC. He belongs to the Beta Gamma Sigma the exclusive Business Honor Society.

Dr. Amar has conducted several plenary lectures and organized and chaired many conference paper streams and sessions. His article on knowledge worker motivation and creativity had full text downloads of 17,295 times since 2013. It has been the 5th Most Read Article of 2015 and 8th Most Read Article of 2016 of the European Journal of Innovation Management: Amar, A. D. (2004). Dr. Amar has chaired and directed several academic and administrative offices and assignments. He has been editor of the Mid-Atlantic Journal of Business for 12 years. He has taught, consulted, held management positions and trained managers in business and public sectors in the USA, India, United Kingdom, Russia, and Poland. His consulting client list includes Arkwin Industries, City of New York, State of New Jersey, General Motors, Social Security Administration, US Postal Service, Vornado—Store Decor, and VW/Audi.

The Foundation is being established with the objective of providing a platform for academicians, researchers, professionals, corporate, and practitioners to discuss, deliberate, disseminate and further the issues related to education which includes corporate governance and areas allied thereto.
