About The Foundation
The GLOBAL RESEARCH FOUNDATION FOR CORPORATE GOVERNANCE has been established with the objective of providing a platform for academicians, researchers, professionals, corporate, and practitioners to discuss, deliberate, disseminate and further the issues related to education which includes corporate governance and areas allied thereto.
The Main objectives of the established Foundation shall be:
- To form, establish, promote, set up, organize, manage, run, assist, finance in setting up of suitable forum for academicians, researchers, professionals, corporate, and practitioners in the domain of corporate governance, CSR and other allied areas.
- To promote CSR including promotion of education, health, public welfare and environmental sustainability.
- To set up homes and hostels for women and orphans, setting up of old age homes, day care centres, and such other facilities for senior citizens.
- To set up educational/research institutions in India or abroad.
- To organize meets, seminars, workshops, symposiums, conferences, training programs, panel discussions, lectures, industry awareness programs, faculty development programs, management development programs, multi-disciplinary research, courses on relevant themes involving the collaboration of industry, academic thinkers, professionals and philosophers at national and international level.
- To conduct courses and to arrange for studies, trainings, investigations, researches in areas of academic interest and in such a manner as it may deem fit, from time to time;
- To set up and maintain regular, ongoing and continuing relations amongst the various stakeholders in the area of corporate governance and other allied areas, both nationally and internationally.
Ancillary objectives of the established Foundation shall be:
- To set up and operate electronic networks and/or websites for worldwide dissemination of information of the Foundation.
- To set up and maintain databases, directories, websites for up to date information of academicians and professionals associated with the field of corporate governance and allied areas.
- To publish quality work in form of research papers in journals, periodicals, reports, conference proceedings, e-journals, books, e-books, working papers and monographs.
- To publish and/or to finance the publication of studies, treaties, books, periodicals, reports and other literature and to sell or arrange for their sale, as it may deem fit, from time to time.
- To institute awards on corporate excellence, best researcher award, fellowships or scholarships for research scholars, professionals and corporate contributing to the field of corporate governance both nationally and internationally.
- To impart education and training among young students, scholars and academicians in different parts of India and abroad.
